Following Taiwan’s third consecutive year as the largest delegation at the SelectUSA Investment Summit this May, momentum behind U.S.–Taiwan supply chain collaboration continues to grow. Organized by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), Taiwan Expo USA 2026 will take place from September 24 to 26 at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center Dallas in Texas. Focusing on six major themes: Smart Manufacturing, Smart Technology, Smart Living, Smart Mobility, Smart Energy, and Smart Healthcare—the event targets procurement decision-makers in Texas’s semiconductor, energy, and utility sectors, as well as U.S. manufacturers seeking to localize their supply chains, making it an important platform for Taiwanese technology companies looking to deepen their investment and presence in the U.S.
Against this backdrop, NEXCOM Group will showcase six AIoT solution areas spanning smart city edge computing, on-premises generative AI, smart manufacturing, robot control, and OT cybersecurity. The solutions are designed to help U.S. manufacturers, utilities, and system integrators accelerate real-world AI deployment at the edge while strengthening the cyber resilience of critical infrastructure, making Taiwan Expo USA one of NEXCOM Group’s key U.S. engagements this year.
Drawing on a diverse portfolio of edge AI computers, NEXCOM provides the computing foundation for smart city infrastructure. The NDiS B562 rugged edge computing platform, for example, can be paired with the flexible DockInfinity expansion modules to maximize space efficiency while supporting multi-display configurations and a wide variety of I/O expansion cards. This flexibility helps simplify integration and accelerate deployment across transportation hubs, warehouses, logistics facilities, parking environments, and other smart city applications.
NEXCLAW (AI-X) is an on-premises GenAI platform designed for industries where data privacy is a priority. By moving AI computing from the cloud to on-premises infrastructure, it significantly reduces the risk of sensitive data exposure. Using Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to access proprietary enterprise knowledge bases, the platform improves answer accuracy and relevance to enterprise-specific contexts while supporting operations monitoring, cybersecurity compliance, and cross-system integration. This enables organizations in manufacturing, healthcare, finance, and other data-sensitive industries to deploy their own dedicated AI capabilities with greater confidence.
NEXCOM will demonstrate a smart production line solution built around its AIGE Series AI inference systems. Integrating machine vision, predictive maintenance, and real-time data analytics, the solution enables factory management teams to use natural language to query KPIs, machine efficiency, and production status—improving the efficiency of AI-driven manufacturing operations and decision-making.
Leveraging the open EtherCAT standard, NEXCOM provides a one-stop solution for robot control. The flagship MARS400 Series AI robot controller combines the NVIDIA Jetson platform with NVIDIA Isaac Sim digital twin technology. Together with NexECM and NexRTOS, NEXCOM’s EtherCAT Master API and real-time operating system, the solution enables millisecond-level synchronized, real-time joint control, helping manufacturers develop advanced robotic systems that combine speed with precision.
For critical infrastructure across oil, water, power, and gas, where cyberattacks can have far-reaching consequences, the NEXCOM eSAF Frontier V-series can be deployed at the Bay Layer of substations to detect and block unauthorized DNP3 Master access in real time. Paired with eSAF Guardian cybersecurity software, the solution extends protection to the core of robotic controllers running RTOS or Linux on ARM-based embedded systems, reducing the risks posed by malware and supply chain attacks while helping enterprises meet ISA/IEC 62443 cybersecurity requirements.
NEXCOM Group follows ISA/IEC 62443 to deliver a five-layer defense-in-depth architecture spanning L0 field devices to L4.0 enterprise systems. The portfolio includes ISA 120 for Zero Trust access, ISA 140 for network segmentation, ISA 141 for mobile and remote assets, ISA 142 for TSN connectivity, and ISA 122 for utility backbone protection. Together, they provide consistent, auditable OT security across warehouses, production lines, substations, and other industrial environments.
At Taiwan Expo USA 2026, NEXCOM Group will not only showcase its latest products and solutions, but also have a team of experts on hand to provide on-site consultation. Visitors can discuss their specific industry environments, system integration requirements, and technical challenges while gaining practical insights from NEXCOM’s deployment experience and implementation expertise.
We warmly invite you to visit us at the show, connect directly with NEXCOM experts, and explore how to take AIoT from concept to real-world deployment, opening up new possibilities for smarter applications together.
