NEXCOM at Embedded World 2026: Unleashing the Ingenuity of Software-Defined Edge Computing

NEXCOM, a global innovator in Edge AI computing and robotic solutions, will participate in the landmark Embedded World 2026, held in Nuremberg, Germany, from March 10 to 12.

Centered on the theme “Unleashing the Ingenuity of SD Edge Computing,” NEXCOM will showcase the limitless potential of Software-Defined Edge Computing (SDEC) technologies through two key segments: AIoT Solutions and AI Computing. The exhibition features the deployment of Edge AI and Physical AI in Safety & AI Humanoid Robots and other real-world applications, empowering industries to dive into a future of more efficient, secure, and highly automated intelligence.

Two Segments, Six Scenarios: One AI Vision

AIoT Solutions in Safety Robots

Leveraging the EtherCAT open standard, NEXCOM offers a comprehensive one-stop robotic solution. By integrating SIL 2 safety controllers, radar sensors, smart joints — with nexECM (EtherCAT master API) and nexRTOS (Real-time operating system), NEXCOM empowers manufacturers to develop safe and advanced motion control end products, spanning from AI Machines to AI Robots. To achieve the real-time precision and multimodal AI Inference required for smooth motion control in humanoid robots, the flagship Robotic AI Controller MARS400 T10-05, powered by NVIDIA® Jetson T5000™ with Blackwell GPU, delivers an impressive 2070 TFLOPS of AI performance and integrates NVIDIA Isaac™ ROS for robot applications. It enables compute-intensive and multi-tasking workloads for advanced robotics and multimodal AI applications, including smooth movement, high-speed sensing and environmental perception, reasoning and chain-of-thought.

AIoT Solutions in Smart Manufacturing

NEXCOM will live-demo its extensive Industrial AIoT solutions, showcasing a hybrid enterprise-manufacturing AI architecture. Built on a foundation of well-supported data acquisition systems and AI-capable edge computers, the platform integrates intelligent capabilities such as Python-based development, data lake, OT/IT microservices, on-premises GPT, and a centralized IIoT asset management suite to streamline data-driven, enterprise-level decision-making. The latest APPC 160/210 C21 industrial panel PC, powered by the Intel® Core™ Ultra 5 125U, integrates CPU, GPU, and NPU architectures to deliver advanced computing performance for real-time AI processing. Paired with NexVIC series, a web-based IIoT asset management suite, it enables remote hardware monitoring and empowers users to build customized automation workflows through an intuitive low-code, drag-and-drop interface, enhancing operation efficiency in AI-driven smart manufacturing.

AIoT Solutions in OT Security

NEXCOM’s eSAF Guardian is a security software solution designed to safeguard robotic controllers and critical OT assets. Developed for RTOS and Linux environments on ARM-based embedded systems, it delivers a robust layer of defense at the core of robots and key devices. By monitoring running programs, file access, and network connections in real time, eSAF Guardian can block unauthorized actions at a very low system level, effectively mitigating threats of malware, unapproved software, and supply chain attacks. It helps ensure operational resilience and provides compliance with the ISA/IEC 62443 international security standards.

AI Computing in On-premise GPT

AIC AI-X, an on-premises GenAI platform designed for industries that prioritize data privacy, shifts computing from the cloud to the edge, significantly reducing the risk of data leakage. With its RAG capabilities, AIC AI-X leverages enterprise-specific knowledge bases to deliver accurate and reliable responses. Supporting multiple mainstream models and featuring an intuitive GPT interface, it enables easy deployment across sectors such as healthcare, education, finance, and manufacturing, empowering organizations with an efficient and trustworthy dedicated AI brain.

AI Computing in Rugged Mobility

With IP67-rated protection, NEXCOM’s edge computing solutions deliver proven durability and reliable performance in harsh railway and in-vehicle environments. Beyond ruggedness, the Edge AI computers accelerated by NVIDIA® Jetson™ platform also enable AI applications such as Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR), and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). A prime example is the ATC 3561-NA4C, a telematics computer equipped with NVIDIA® Jetson Orin Nano™ SoM which delivers ultra-fast, real-time inference for mission-critical applications in smart transportation.

AI Computing in Smart City

NEXCOM’s versatile Edge AI platforms empower Smart City infrastructure with a broad portfolio, featuring fresh Intel architectures with the flexibility to integrate AI accelerators based on specific requirements. Engineered for data-intensive edge workloads and multi-display computing, systems such as the NDiS B340 duro edge computer feature the flexible DockInfinity expansion design that optimizes space utilization. Users can opt for PoE, capture, or I/O card, making the device adaptable to a wide range of applications. The flexibility helps system integrators and enterprises simplify product planning, shorten time-to-market, and scale confidently as edge computing demands continue to evolve.
