The embedded fanless box PC features a new, sleek, and slim industrial design, plus updated components that are based on customer requests. With its high performance and adaptability, you can use the NDiS B560 in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments that have greater CPU power and wider operating temperature requirements, including information booths (flight and bus schedules; sightseeing) and smart city kiosks (automated ticketing; customer feedback).

The NDiS B560 is a top-of-the-line display engine featuring superior processing power and supporting stunning graphic displays, coupled with essential computing elements for data protection and system management. Based on your needs, you can select between two Intel^® socket-type CPUs, the 9th Generation Coffee Lake Refresh or 8th Generation Coffee Lake S, up to and including Core™ i9. With advanced processors and via HDMI 2.0, the NDiS B560 will immerse customers in stunning 4k triple displays, supported by dual DDR4 memory of up to 32GB. Moreover, you can conveniently remotely manage the system anytime with iAMT – an absolute must for digital signage players – while the onboard TPM 2.0 provides an additional layer of security and the watchdog timer prevents system failure.

Suits most environmental conditions

Searching for an embedded box PC that functions in most indoor and outdoor environments? The wide temperature range (-20 to 60°C) is one of the many highlights of the NDiS B560, while the optional heater provides an even wider range of -40 to 60°C. Yet overheating is not an issue with the specially designed aluminum top cover for thermal dissipation. Other customers have even been able to use the box PC in situations with variant power supply, such as in yacht entertainment equipment, by opting for a built-in power module.

5G, easy as 1-2-3

The NDiS B560 is our first digital signage player to support increasingly deployed 5G networks. The advent of 5G technology fulfills the growing need for higher bandwidth and lower latency in providing video streaming and real-time updates. To maximize this technology, three M.2 expansion slots are available (B, E, and M Key), the B Key intended especially for 5G modules, as well as 4G and 3G. Take advantage of the E Key slot for optional Wi-Fi modules and M Key for SSD or video capture card. Two RJ45 LAN ports are also available to provide local Ethernet.

Ample I/O ports

NEXCOM’s embedded NDiS B560 features an industrial design that condenses the generous selection of I/Os. For limited-space and indoor environments, we also offer a slimline choice that’s lightweight but offers the same components as the regular version, only with a smaller temperature range of 0 to 40°C. Especially suitable for smart city uses, visual signage players often require peripheral device connections; hence all B560 versions provide six USB ports for added flexibility. Legacy devices, such as barrier gates for parking machines, can link to the embedded fanless box PC via any of two COM ports.
