DNA2120, NEXCOM's first fanless network security appliance, assures silent and reliable operation. This entry-level desktop network security appliance has great expansion ability and a multitude of I/O interfaces with 6 LAN ports supported to deliver intrusion detection system/ intrusion prevention system (IDS/IPS), gateway anti-virus, gateway anti-spyware and application intelligence and control.

Fanless Design

Network security appliances with the minimum operation noise help provide a quiet working atmosphere, especially for SOHO, small businesses and branch office environments. With fanless design, DNA2120 is able to operate silently. Housed in a small and slim chassis (250mm x 194mm x 40mm), it is also ideal for applications within confined spaces.

Expansion Ability

The DNA2120 is built with superb technology, Intel® Atom™ D425/D525 processor which is capable of providing high performance. To ensure the system can function correctly under continuous vibration, the DNA 2120 is specifically designed with DDR3 on-board memory. Moreover, it is equipped with expansion capability with 1x 204 pin DDR3 SO-DIMM socket which supports up to 4GB of memory.

Multitude of I/O Interfaces

The DNA2120 is an entry-level desktop network security appliance which comes with a multitude of I/O interfaces. In addition to the most impressive feature of having 6 GbE LAN ports (compared to only 4 LAN ports for most products in current market), the DNA2120 supports one 2.5" HDD bay, one SATA-DOM device space and one optional CompactFlash socket. The rear panel provides a RJ-45 console port, 2 x USB 2.0 ports, 1 x mini PCIe slot and 2 pairs of LAN Bypass. The system is CE and FCC compliant.
