NEXCOM Commit to the Marine Industry at METS 2012

As a statement of intent to develop new and innovative products for the marine industry, NEXCOM will debut its range of Fanless Computers, Panel PCs and Marine computers at the METS exhibition, which takes place from November 13-15 in Amsterdam RAI Convention Centre in the Netherlands.

At this prestigious event, NEXCOM will demonstrate a plethora of exciting technologies in marine industry. For instance, nTUF 610 is a super tough, IEC60945 compliant fanless marine computer with outstanding computing with graphics processing capabilities and unparalleled connection for secure operation. The mechanical design of nTUF 610 makes for quick setup times and easy maintenance and is therefore perfect for a wide variety of marine applications.

NEXCOM will also offer NISE series fanless computer in the showcase. Marine application vendors looking for an off-the shelf, industrial-grade fanless pc, which offers numerous expansion possibilities, a multitude of CPU options and a vast array of I/O, will find a suitable platform within the NISE range. Typical of the range is the brand new NISE 3600E fanless embedded computer which is based on the cutting-edge technology of the new Intel^® the 3rd Generation Intel^® Core™ i5/i3. It is therefore perfect for high-performance and graphic-intensive applications.

Another impressive stunning product on the show is Panel PC solution – a high-performance range of Industrial Panel PC's. New to the METS exhibition is the 19" APPC 1930T Panel PC which is based on the Intel^® Atom™ D2550, Dual Core CPU and support resolutions up to 1280x1024. The APPC 1930T is part of a series which ranges from 12.1"to 19" platforms. It will support output to one additional monitor and is therefore ideal for super navigation and automation within marine applications. With superb protection from protection against water, dust or humidity and an IP65 compliant front panel the Panel PC series provide protection from liquid and moisture damage which allows users to clean the surface directly using high-pressure water jets.
