Accelerating the Digital Transformation in A Smart Factory with Secured Private 5G Service
NEXCOM’s smart factory at Huaya Technology Park in Taiwan has been further enhanced to take advantage of the benefits offered by its private 5G network, made possible through the partnership with notable partners, including Inventec, Trend Micro, and CTOne (a spin-off of Trend Micro). The partnership was formed early last year and the 5G private network was deployed in late 2022.
With this 5G SA network infrastructure, NEXCOM is able to maneuver its own AMR in the production floor seamlessly and monitor factory operations using iAT 2000, a cloud-based SCADA solution that can be easily accessed through handheld devices.
