The solution provides real-time data about the occupancy levels of each vehicle, enabling passengers to make informed decisions about their travel plans and enables operators to monitor the fleet occupancy and location in real time.
The occupancy solution works by using cameras installed in each vehicle to detect the number of passengers in real-time. The anonymous occupancy information is then sent to a centralized system that aggregates information from all vehicles and displays it in an interactive web dashboard.
The application will allow passengers to check the occupancy levels of the upcoming vehicles, and plan their journey accordingly, avoiding crowded buses and trains.
