NexCOBOT wins Breakthrough Innovation Award from Intel Corporation

NexCOBOT announced today that it has been recognized by Intel Corporation with an Intel Partner Award in the category of Breakthrough Innovation. NexCOBOT received this award for its collaboration with ecosystem partners in developing the first x86 functional safety robot control solution and its ongoing efforts to enable and enhance innovation among these partners.

To qualify as a winner in the Breakthrough Innovation category, organizations must be a member of the Intel Partner Alliance and demonstrate a commitment to innovation over the past year. They must also have a proven track record of bringing new products and solutions to the market that incorporate the latest Intel technologies.

NexCOBOT and its ecosystem partners, recently unveiled the new functional safety robot control solution at Hannover Messe 2023. This solution, called ROBASafe, combines NexCOBOT’s PC-based robot control platform-SCB100, with Synapticon’s smart servo drive and safe motion module. It represents the next generation modularized collaborative application robot control, offering the world’s first x86 SIL 2/SIL 3 robot control solution. The SCB 100, optimized for IoT embedded and industrial applications, features the Intel Atom^® x6427FE processor and Intel^® Safety Island (Intel^® SI) with integrated functional safety capability, making it the best processor for developing control systems for robots and machines.
