With Super Mode activated, the AIEdge-X®80-NA with NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano™ 8GB SoM rockets from 33 to 67 TOPS, while the AIEdge-X®80-NX-S with NVIDIA Jetson Orin™ NX 16GB SoM pushes performance even further: from 100 to an incredible 157 TOPS. This dramatic speedup allows the systems powered by NVIDIA® technology to process more complex AI models –especially generative AI, vision-language models (VLM), and large language models (LLM) –directly at the edge without relying on the cloud.
Because the NVIDIA Jetson Orin™ NX now supports a higher power budget (up to 45W), an optional fan kit ensures stable thermals during intensive inference workloads, as featured in the AIEdge-X®80-NX-S. A fanless option, such as the
AIEdge-X®80, remains available for lower-power deployments.
