The single-board computer X103 utilizes a selection of multi-core Intel Atom® x6000E Series SoC processors, particularly suitable for embedded applications. Multiple I/Os include one HDMI 1.4, one LVDS connector, two USB 3.2 Gen2 and two USB 2.0 ports, and six COM ports. Expansion possibilities are endless with the M.2 and mini-PCIe slots, while three 2.5GbE LAN ports keep the industrial PC online. The X103’s robust design further enables operation in extended temperatures, perfect for various semi-outdoor and outdoor uses.

Stability is the key

The wide-temperature embedded computer has been tested to withstand temperatures ranging from -40 to 85°C with a passive heatsink. It specifically supports DC power input voltage +12/ +24V, for outdoor and semi-outdoor power sources. Additionally, the machine can maintain stable operation conditions when used with outdoor devices, thanks to its ESD protection to 20kV of its LAN, USB, and HDMI ports. With its exceptional stability, the X103 is ideal for smart parking, EV charging stations, vending machines, and kiosks, making it the smart choice – for the smart city.

Countless I/Os for connecting your devices

As the premier computing choice for outdoor uses, the industrial PC employs a variety of I/Os to connect to other devices. That’s why it includes six COM ports – two RS232/RS422/RS485 and four RS232 – to connect devices and sensors, such as temperature sensors, charge controllers, energy meters, credit card terminals, and barcode scanners, to name a few. A dual-channel LVDS connection supports small HMI panels and large public information displays for signage purposes. For integrating payment devices and money dispensers in parking machines and EV charging stations, several USB ports and GPIO are available.

Connectivity that’s rapid and reliable

To fulfill the demands of edge computing, the X103 needs reliable connectivity and bandwidth. Three 2.5GbE LAN ports provide quick speeds and ample bandwidth for outdoor cameras, crucial for smart city machines and devices. All LAN and HDMI ports have also passed EFT immunity testing using 2.2kV, ensuring reliable data transmission in outdoor applications.
