NEXCOM In-Vehicle Solutions Pave the Way for Telematics at Intertraffic 2012

NEXCOM will showcase its latest innovations in smart mobile technology at the Intertraffic Exhibition from March 27^th to 30^th in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Products featured at this prominent event include solutions which have been specifically designed for In-vehicle Computing, Train Computing and Marine Computing.

 

Typical of the NEXCOM range is the VTC 7110 in-vehicle computer which boasts a powerful Intel^® Core™ i7 CPU engine, fanless design and a multitude of features. For smart and efficient power control, the VTC 7110 can be woken up, either by the clock or by text message. VTC 7110 is housed in attractive rugged chassis with enough expansion options to meet most customer demands. These include isolated digital IO ports along with CAN bus in support of SAE J1939 and J1708, and PoE that can support up to 8-channels. In addition, a Dual SIM card holder ensures seamless connection.

The nROK 3000 fanless transportation computer certified with EN50155 is designed with isolated DC input protection to ensure stable operation in harsh environments. Equipped with a SIM card holder, CFast socket and mini-PCIe socket for optional 3G wireless connectivity, nROK 3000 allows data to be transmitted over network and stored in a convenient SSD (Solid-State Drive) or CFast card for better vibration and shock protection.

For maritime applications, nTUF 600 marine computer is a dedicated bridge and control room computing solution for use on fishing boats, recreational vessels, work boats and yachts that sail in touch conditions.
