The BMC daughter board interfaces with hardware platforms through a 260-pin SODIMM DDR4 connector, which is intended for mounting into a mating SODIMM DDR4 socket. BMC allows users to control security issues for out of band management for faster time to patch, custom implementations of open source software, secure boot.
