NEXCOM's 8", PC-based HMI Solution Delivers Robust Integration & Mega Performance

NEXCOM's 8-inch, PC-based HMI solution delivers robust integration and mega performance. Both APPC 0840T and APPC 0840T-HMI feature powerful graphics capability, Ethernet connectivity, and robust isolation-protection design. Plant operators can thus visualize operations, perform supervisory control, and manage production line adjustment instantly. The ready-to-run, bundled APPC 0840T-HMI variant comprises computers, JMobile HMI, and CODESYS SoftPLC software that can be put into service immediately.

Based on dual-core Intel^® Atom™ Processor E3826, the HMI solution delivers smooth user experience over Windows operating systems and powerful performance for demanding visualization and control tasks. Also, thanks to its small size and low power consumption, 24/7 operation is made possible without any performance losses, especially suitable for space-critical industrial automation application. In addition, both APPC 0840T and APPC 0840T-HMI equip two Gigabit LAN port, delivering high speed transmissions and redundancy.

Furthermore, designed for enhanced system reliability, the HMI solution provides voltage tolerance with wide voltage rang and features isolation protection on its COM ports. Prepared for EN61000-6-1 and EN61000-6-3 industrial EMC testing, the HMI solution can deliver smooth, automated production for steady-state factory operation.

Last but not least, the x86-based HMI solution is available with APPC 0840T-HMI variant, which supports JMobile HMI and CODESYS SoftPLC. The bundled HMI solution allows plant operators to access machines remotely so that factory applications are no longer limited by workstation constraints. It also visualizes and utilizes machine functions, allowing better execution and control during manufacturing processes. Most importantly, the bundled solution improves overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) and product quality.
