Hotspot Wi-Fi Helps Manage and Monetize the Wi-Fi Service

NEXCOM HWF 1310 is a Hotspot Wi-Fi access point which can provide quality network speed in public venues and better still pay for itself. The HWF 1310 integrates gigabyte throughput, user management, billing mechanism, separate subnet support, and easy-to-use design. With the Hotspot Wi-Fi HWF 1310, providing Wi-Fi service will pay off in terms of financial gain and customer satisfaction in shopping centers, restaurants, museums, rail stations, hotels and more.

To ensure quality Wi-Fi connection, the Hotspot Wi-Fi HWF 1310 features gigabyte broadband and can serve in public places with the preponderance of internet users. The HWF 1310 can hold up to 2,500 accounts with 2,000 of them generated on demand. Moreover, the HWF 1310 offers multi-level user management to provide different speed, prices, and time periods to different user groups. With HWF 1310, retailers can offer freemium Wi-Fi to improve customer experience while charging for extra time or display advertisement on the login portal to improve the return on investment (ROI).

Also, the HWF 1310 supports the subnet setting. The network segmentation function can, for instance, separate intranet and internet traffic to prevent retailers’ systems from exposed to the public eye. As for regulatory compliance, the HWF 1310 can keep a service log to help Wi-Fi service providers adhere to data retention legislation.

As for ease of use, the HWF 1310 with built-in authentication, authorization and accounting (AAA) feature eliminates the need of RADIUS server configuration. Creating on-demand accounts can be as easy as pressing a button which can be found on the bundled password generator HWF-S200 or integrated with retail POS system. The thermal printer HWF-P200 is available to print out Wi-Fi tickets. Also, the HWF 1310 has a Wireless Easy Setup (WES) button. A simple press will connect the neighboring Wi-Fi networks to expand Wi-Fi service area.
