Introducing the X314, a 3.5” single board computer that supports multiple specifications (mini-PCIe, m.2, SATA) and includes a variety of I/Os and two hard drives, making it suitable for touch computers and numerous other settings, including elevators, showrooms, and kiosks.

Compact size but expanded uses

Atypical for embedded boards in its class, the X314 with onboard Intel^® Skylake-U Core™ CPU delivers big power in a small package. The single board computer is particularly designed for flexibility with its I/O selections and uses in both outdoor and semi-outdoor environments with operating temperatures between 0 to 60°C. For energy efficiency and better visibility, you can even connect to a light sensor board to control display brightness.

Better communication, better computation

We’ve consolidated all X314’s I/Os on one face to save space and for better access to all of your peripherals. Keeping in mind that it’s designed to support visual displays and kiosks/booths, we’ve packed in five USB slots, a GbE LAN port, and several audio pin headers, on top of supporting simultaneous HDMI (4k at 30Hz) and LVDS dual channel displays. General functions include 4 in/4 out GPIO, hardware monitoring, smart fan control, and watchdog timer.

Ride the AI wave

Having sufficient storage for all of your data is crucial – especially when it comes to AI applications – which is why we include both SATA and M.2 drives. After connecting cameras, X314 is perfect for AI at the edge, as you can gather information to perform big data analysis and boost marketing efforts. A full-size mini-PCIe slot is also available for any additional modules you require, such as AI acceleration cards. The SIM card slot can similarly support LTE modules. Accordingly, X314 is perfect for applications that require compact yet powerful computational capabilities.
