NEXCOM Showcased Advanced IP Cams and NVR at Secutech

NEXCOM's advanced megapixel IP cameras and NVR (Network Video Recorder) impressed security surveillance experts at Secutech 2014. Specializing in vertical market applications, NEXCOM presented its vertical solutions for retail shops, enterprises, transportation and border surveillance at the show. NEXCOM's megapixel IP cameras received strong responses from industry experts and visitors for its advanced capabilities such as ultra-low light image capture, RF detection and LPC (License Plate Capture). While the latest compact NVR for retail shops gained widespread interest for its compact size and functionality.

At the event, NEXCOM displayed its ultra-low light camera NCb-221 and ultra-slim NVR NViS 1208 for retail solutions in dimly-lit environments, and demonstrated how the NCb-221 provided clear image output in such applications.
The NCb-221 features Sony 1/2" Exmore image sensor and TI 3D DNR (digital noise reduction) technology. This megapixel IP camera is so sensitive to light that it can enhance image colors yet suppress noise and motion blurs resulting from imaging enhancement.

The security surveillance system NViS 1208 also garnered widespread interest with its compact design. Equipped with a 1.1GHz dual-core Intel^® Celeron^® Processor 847E and supporting up to 16GB DDR3 1333/1600MHz memory, the slim and compact NViS 1208 can provide high quality digital recording and real-time display. In addition, with a wide variety of built-in I/O interfaces and eight Gigabit Ethernet PoE ports, the NViS 1208 can support a wide range of peripherals and megapixel IP cameras while maintaining a compact size.

The RF detection IP camera NCr-301-RF, which can visualize RF wave, also caught the eye of many customers through a demonstration showing how it can detect radio waves and identify abnormal signals. The NCr-301-RF is an outstanding 3 megapixel IP camera which can offer smooth video playback of up to 30fps in 1080p resolution. Combined with a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to 60°C, the NCr-301-RF is ideal for outdoor surveillance such as border security.

The LPC box camera NCb-231 was also highly sought after for its capability to provide clear image captures. Equipped with 2/3" full HD progressive scan CMOS image sensor and global shutter, the NCb-231 can easily capture objects in high-speed motion. Thus, the NCb-231 is ideal for transportation applications such as vehicle license plate recognition.
