The IWF 504D is an IP55 dual-RF dual-band industrial Wi-Fi AP offering gigabit-speed Wi-Fi connection. Conforming to 802.11a/b/g/n/ac standards, the IWF 504D can operate on one 2.4GHz band and one 5GHz band and yield a combined throughput of 1.1Gbps. Along with its high output power of 27dBm and endurance of extreme temperatures, the IWF 504D has the capacity to carry a high volume of data through obstacles or open expanses, equipping factories and industrial facilities with cost-effective Wi-Fi connectivity for both outdoor and indoor use.

For data exchange between factories and the cloud, the IWF 504D can communicate with machines and devices over the 2.4GHz band while sending live images and machine data to a private or public cloud over less-crowded 5GHz. The dual-RF IWF 504D can also be configured to provide redundant connections for seamless failover, ensuring high network availability for data-critical applications. With the IWF 504D, manufacturers can easily oversee plant-wide activities and update real-time manufacturing status to corporate headquarters, enabling enterprises to agilely coordinate company-wide resources to meet business needs.

To simplify the management of industrial Wi-Fi APs, the IWF 504D offers remote manageability with the optional management software, nCare. Designed to accelerate the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of APs, nCare comes with a web-based portal which gives network administrators access to all IWF 504Ds installed on premises. In nCare’s web portal, network administrators can configure system settings, monitor network statistics, review event logs, and distribute firmware update at once.
