DNA 130-E Mitigates Security Risks in SOHO Network Communication

To address growing concerns over network security among SOHO users, NEXCOM has developed the desktop network appliance DNA 130-E with a competent level of performance, throughput, and wireless support. The DNA 130-E can fulfill network communication needs while enabling the implementation of security measures to protect intellectual property assets, sensitive data, and business reputation for SOHO.

The DNA 130-E, intended for SOHO networks, is a cost-efficient desktop network appliance coming with a dual-core Intel^® Celeron^® processor N3350 and support for 4GB of DDR3L memory. Through a sea of network traffic the DNA 130-E can detect and block suspicious network attacks, filter and screen out malware and pirate websites, encrypt data over virtual private networks (VPN), and isolate compromised files to leave a safe clean network environment for legitimate network communication such as video conferencing, cloud collaboration, and many more business activities.

Considering the ubiquitous presence of mobile devices, the desktop network appliance DNA 130-E supports both wired and wireless connection. In addition to four 1 GbE ports, the DNA 130-E can be configured with Wi-Fi connectivity through mini-PCIe expansion, expanding the security protection beyond workstation and office appliances to smartphones, tablets, and handheld terminals as well.
