NEXCOM Launches NISE 3500 Series, the World #1 Industrial Fanless PC Support Intel® Core™ i7/i5 Mobile Processor

NEXCOM, the industrial fanless PC innovator, has extended its fanless product family with launch of the NISE3500 and NISE 3500M fanless PC, two new platforms which are based on the high performance Mobile Intel^® QM57 (Platform Controller Hub) and Intel^® 32nm dual-core Core™ i7/i5 socket processors.

The NISE 3500 series fanless PC is designed for customers with high-performance processing graphics requirements and targets applications such as medical diagnostic equipment, medical imaging, industrial automation, public infotainment and surveillance security applications.

Utilizing 32nm Intel^® Core™ i7/i5 processor, NISE 3500 series fanless PC feature Intel^® Turbo Boost and Intel Hyper-Threading technologies (2 cores, 4 threads), as well as on-processor graphics and two DDRIII 800/1066 memory modules up to 4GB. The Intel^® Turbo Boost Technology provides an on-demand boost in the clock speed for one processor core, if the other core is less utilized. The NISE 3500 fanless PC has an integrated graphics engine to support resolutions up to 1080p HD video playback with a variety of display interfaces, including one VGA, one DVI-D, internal dual channel 18/24-bit LVDS and optional HDMI outputs. The on-board Intel^® 82577LM GbE LAN controller offers high-speed network transmission rates, as well as remote asset management capabilities. Based on Intel^®Active Management Technology 6.0, NISE 3500 series fanless PC enables remote networking manageability via KVM redirection for easy monitoring and communication, over the network, between the server and the user, offering optimized system remote management capability.

In addition, NISE 3500 fanless PC provides a wide variety of display I/O configurations and rich I/O interfaces including two Intel^® GbE Ethernet ports, 5x COM ports, 6x USB, 8x GPIO, 2x SATAII, 2x eSATA, audio interfaces. NISE 3500M fanless PC has more features than NISE 3500 fanless PC , for example, it is equipped with 3x IEEE1394b ports and 1x HDMI port. An optional external CF socket module is also available. In terms of storage, RAID levels 0 and 1 are supported on NISE 3500 series fanless PC to improve storage performance functions. NISE 3500 series fanless PC also offers the excellent expansion ability with various selections including one PCI, one PCIe x1, two PCI and two PCIex1.
